Project Description
Plant trees for Arbor Day; maintain annual and perennial beds at the Emmaus Triangle, Emmaus Library entrance and Memorial Gardens; sponsor bus trips including the PHS Flower Show in Philadelphia in March; donations to the Emmaus Public Library, Second Harvest Food Bank, Penny Pines, Natural Disasters and the Emmaus Historical Society; garden awards to residents; participate in special events at the l803 House, Knauss Homestead, and Remembrance Garden; provide fresh floral arrangements to nursing homes; participate in the Lehigh Valley Flower and Garden Show; award a $1500 scholarship to an Emmaus High School student.
